The skipjack tuna (latin name Katsuwonus pelamis), is a fast swimming migratory fish found in tropical and subtropical waters worldwide. With its streamlined body, dark metallic blue colour on the back, and silver striped belly, it can reach up to 1 meter in length and weigh around 18kg.
